HR and Talent Management Coordinator

Self Management Group is a leader in Talent Management Consulting, partnering with clients worldwide to help them attract, select, retain, and develop top potential employees. The newly created HR and Talent Management Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Training and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Strategy and HR functions internally and with external client groups. This role will report to the Director of Talent & Strategy and will be key to the success of internal and external Talent Management projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Training and Development function including event coordination, instructional design, program delivery, material development and certification tracking
  • Support Talent Strategy for high-value clients including data administration, client presentations and meeting coordination
  • Coordinate Diversity and Inclusion programming for external client groups including training, debriefs, material development and project coordination
  • Manage the internal recruitment process – posting positions, sourcing, reviewing and screening candidates, administering assessments, and creating a consistent on-boarding experience
  • Champion and coordinate employee engagement initiatives and career development planning
  • Assist in employee relations and annual performance review processes
  • General HR administrative duties such as updating HR documents, website maintenance, and process improvement

What you have:

  • 0-3 years of Human Resources experience (University/College Co-Op experience valid as well)
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong analytical skills (understanding of Statistics and Talent Analytics a bonus)
  • Comfortable managing full-cycle recruitment 
  • Able to handle situations professionally and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Comfortable taking initiative in an unstructured setting in a newly created role  
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and with competing deadlines
  • Ability to think innovatively and proactively improve processes
