Co-Op Student / Intern - Ruby on Rails Developer

If you would like to work with a small team, learning software development practices, and gaining practical experience in both front- and back-end development, this might be the position for you!

We are hiring a Ruby on Rails developer to work full-time on our TalentNest application on a paid internship/co-op student. We are flexible in terms of start and end date.

We would need your help fulfilling our plan to upgrade the experience both our recruiters and our candidates have with our application. You will be responsible for developing in both Ruby and Javascript, in a test-driven environment, using industry standard tools like Github and Pivotal.

We are a small but collaborative team, and if you have a good idea, we figure out how to make it a reality.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with web development: HTML, Javascript (including framework libraries), CSS
• Passion for development and learning
• Takes pride in a job well done, and is self-motivated
• Experience writing test code in RSpec or Cucumber is a benefit
